So should I sell my home by myself?

History shows that a real estate agent will sell your home for more money.  Enough even to NET you as a home seller more while still paying commissions.  See chart below with figures provided by the National Association of Realtors.  An Agent sells the average home for $215,000 a for sale by owner home sells for $175,000 on average.  That’s a $40,000 difference.  Commissions on $215,000 sale would be $12,900.  So using a Professional Full time Real Estate Agent would earn you $27,100 more on average than selling yourself.  Do you think it would be worth looking into hiring the Bradley Potter, LLC home selling team?

WHAT ARE INTEREST RATES DOING TO THE MARKET?

     Recently the fed announced not to taper bond purchases just yet, but that they may start at the end of the year.  See the chart below in July just the mention that the Feds would start tapering off caused the rates to jump from 4.3% in end of July to 4.57% September, that was just due to discussions that tapering might start.  Then in September the government saw that rates were rising rapidly and came out and announced in September “OK OK were not going to taper bond purchases”  Rates since September have dropped back down to 4.1%.  “see chart below”
